Turning back the clock on climate change is scientifically impossible, but one maverick inventor might just try.

From Antarctica to the Andes, Joaquin Fargas’ outlandish quest of poetic protest aims to hammer home his message that we need to stop destroying vital natural resources – before it’s too late.

His tools are innovative machines like the “Glaciator,” a robot which accelerates the glacier formation process by compacting snow into ice, and an ice-producing windmill designed to restore glaciers that have been obliterated by mining.

While the U.S. president rolls back climate protection, welcoming corporations to drill for coal and oil, a new gold rush is sweeping through South America, perpetuating a twisted cycle of doom: By melting glaciers and polluting water supplies with mining operations, humanity’s manic desire for wealth is crushing its own life force.

This documentary follows Fargas on his mission to fight for the preservation of the world as we know it, by installing his inventions on stunning Antarctic islands and near a controversial gold mine at the Argentina-Chile border.
